Combine Korean language education with university application preparation
Use Dong-A’s ten-week terms and published curriculum to connect language learning, assessment and admissions documents in one preparation schedule.
Connect language education and admissions by working backwards from the target intake to assessment, course completion and documents. Plan exam preparation alongside the language activities students need to participate in classes.
A real curriculum reference
Dong-A's language institute describes four terms a year, each lasting ten weeks. Its curriculum separates speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary and grammar; advanced work includes report writing for university and graduate classes. Term structure · Curriculum
Alongside a TOPIK goal, a preparation plan can include reading department information, asking questions, short presentations and writing. Check the student's current level before selecting activities.
Four schedules to connect
Learning: start and finish, attendance and assignments
Assessment: test sitting, result release and certificates
Admissions: programme language requirements and evidence deadlines
Documents: academic records, translation, certification and arrival
Education staff manage learning and assessment; admissions staff track the guide and documents. In weekly reviews, check the next assessment date and evidence already obtained instead of a broad “language preparation” status.
A practical term plan
At the start, record current level and university goals. Mid-term, review language tasks and test preparation. Before the end, match result or completion-certificate dates with admissions deadlines. If placement or the intended intake changes, both teams update the same preparation record.
Give students one page showing this period's learning goals, next assessment and documents to submit. Teachers then know the language work needed, while counsellors know what evidence will be available and when.
Discuss cooperation with GEA
GEA presents cooperation in basic Korean, TOPIK, conversation and interview preparation alongside admissions support. Share learner numbers and levels, target programme and intake, teaching language and delivery format.
