GEA · Admissions
Will my visa be approved?
Key information
Admission and visa approval are separate. Degree study uses D-2 categories; Korean language training generally uses D-4-1. Prepare school and personal evidence.
Match the programme
Degree categories distinguish associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral study. People already in Korea may need a status-change procedure.
Assign the documents
Separate university admission documents from passport, education and financial evidence. Use the responsible embassy/consulate’s current list.
Avoid unsupported approval claims
GEA does not give a school’s approval percentage without verified applicable evidence. Admission or tuition payment cannot guarantee a visa.
Plan the sequence
Work back from the start date, allowing for school documents, appointments and extra requests. Confirm processing guidance before fixing refund-sensitive travel.
