Why do some students get refused, even with good grades?
Most refusals come from gaps in the story, not from bad luck.
Let's look at three cases.
Case one.
A large deposit appeared in her account a week before she applied, and she couldn't
explain where it came from.
What went wrong?
The source of the money wasn't clear.
Show where your funds come from, like income records or a sponsor's documents, and
keep the history consistent.
So the money has to make sense, not just be there.
Case two.
He's twenty-eight, worked in accounting for five years, and applied for a cooking
program.
His study plan didn't say why.
What's the problem?
His plan didn't match his career.
Changing fields is fine, but you need to explain why, and what you'll do after
graduation.
Case three.
At her embassy interview, she was asked simple questions in Korean, and couldn't
answer.
And this time, what went wrong?
She wasn't ready to answer in Korean.
If your embassy might interview you in Korean, practice simple answers about your
school, your major, and your plan.
What if I just fix one small number on a document?
Never.
Changing or faking any document can lead not only to a refusal, but to an entry ban
and legal penalties.
Honesty is the safest plan.
No one can promise one hundred percent. A clear, honest file is your best chance.
At GEA, our visa consulting means reviewing your documents with you.
You submit the application yourself.
So you check, and I apply.
Right.
If you'd like a second look at your file, you can talk to a consultant after this
module.
Now, write down your visa route once your school confirms it,
and the Korean embassy or consulate in your country.
Next up: getting ready to fly. See you in Module 6!
See you there!
