Last question. How do I know a school is trustworthy?
Check whether it's certified.
Every year, the Korean government evaluates how well universities manage
international students.
In the 2026 announcement, 181 universities were certified for degree programs,
and 123 for language courses.
What's different at a certified school?
Visa procedures are simpler.
At the 39 schools rated excellent, they're simpler still.
And at a certified school,
students with good grades and strong Korean can be allowed more part-time work
hours.
A few schools, on the other hand, are under stricter visa review.
The lists change every year, so check the latest one in GEA's university explorer.
So: school type, then visa, then my timeline!
That's it. School type, visa type, your timeline.
Now, which school type interests you most?
Next up: should you start with a language course, or go straight to a degree?
See you in Module 2!
See you there!
