Okay. So when can I actually start?
The Korean academic year starts on March first.
Many universities also welcome new students in September.
So for a degree, you'll usually aim for a March or a September start.
Language institutes are more flexible.
Most open new classes four times a year, but dates differ, so check your school.
And where should I study? Seoul?
Seoul and the capital area have the most schools, lots of jobs, and a fast city
pace.
Rent and daily costs tend to be higher, too.
Regional cities like Busan have their own strengths: a more relaxed pace,
lower daily costs, and close campus communities where you use Korean every day.
So it's not 'Seoul or nothing'?
Not at all. Choose the place where you can study well and live well.
Now it's your turn. When do you want to start, and where?
