3. Who we share it with
Universities in Korea. Submitting an application means transferring your application documents to the university you apply to. This is the purpose of the service and you consent to it at purchase. The university handles your information under its own policy.
Service providers. Payment processing (payment provider; card data never reaches GEA), e-mail and messaging, cloud storage and document handling, courier services for originals, and Korean language instructors engaged for interview training. Each is bound to use your information only to provide the service to GEA.
Authorities. Where required by Korean law or a lawful request.
We do not sell personal information and do not share it with advertisers.
4. International transfer
You are outside Korea and GEA is in Korea. Your information is transferred to Korea when you send it to us, and stored there. Some service providers listed in section 3 may store data outside Korea; where they do, GEA uses providers that apply safeguards equivalent to Korean requirements. Transfer to your university is within Korea.
5. Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, or withdraw consent. E-mail the privacy officer. We respond within 10 business days. Deleting information needed to complete a service you have purchased may prevent us from completing it; we will tell you if so. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place.
If you are in a jurisdiction that grants additional rights, those rights apply in addition.
6. Security
Documents are stored in access-controlled systems limited to staff who need them for your case. Originals are stored in a locked location from receipt until delivery. Card data is never received by GEA. We will notify you and, where required, the relevant authority without undue delay if we become aware of a breach affecting your information.
7. Cookies
This site uses only the cookies and local settings needed to remember your language preference and keep the site working. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used.
Direct service applications
You may request a service through your signed-in account without submitting a consultation enquiry. We record your nationality, current residence, selected service and application status. For a report, you save basic study information before applying or paying: education and graduation month, programme, intake, TOPIK and IELTS result information, study purpose, institution preference, up to three ranked university-selection priorities, preferred visa route and region, up to three fields of interest, universities of interest, and optional questions or needs, and required applicant and parental nationality information. Previously saved initial or semester budget values remain as historical references; this form no longer asks for a budget. A semester budget is not treated as total starting funds. Your roadmap and report use the latest shared study information. Stored original records are retained, and a separate snapshot is submitted with each report request. We also record the signed-in account email, your preferred contact channel, any messenger number you supply, your consultation language and time zone to arrange the included video consultation. Supplying a phone number does not verify ownership of that number. After verified payment, preparation tasks and your submitted information are used to provide the service and deliver its results in your account. Payment is handled by PayPal; we do not store card numbers or your PayPal password.
8. Minors
If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must consent to this policy on your behalf before we provide services.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes are notified by e-mail to active clients and by notice on this site.
